What will you do at MMDSmart?
* Automation of processes (provisioning, deployment, monitoring, auto-scaling);
* Building, maintaining and improving CI/CD infrastructure;
* Identify and resolve production and non-production application issues;
* Research and recommend innovative and automated approaches for administration tasks;
* Assist in the planning, documentation, and implementation of various systems;
* Developing and implementing security policies.
You are a perfect match if you have:
* Strong background in Linux/Unix Administration;
* Experience with automation/configuration management using Gitlab or an equivalent;
* Experience with maintenance and development of CI/CD infrastructure in the project;
* Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and cloud services (experience with Google Cloud is required);
* Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL databases;
* A working understanding of code and script (Bash, Python or Node.JS);
* Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service;
* Strong networking understanding: TCP/IP, DNS, Routing, Load-balancers, network security;
* Experience with containers and container management systems (Docker, kubernetes);
* Experience with log management tools (ELK stack, Fluentd, Logstash);
* Experience with monitoring and alerting services(Grafana, Nagios, Zabbix);
* Experience with web servers(Nginx, Apache);
* Good spoken and written English.

Responsibilities:
- Manage schedule: arrange and attend meetings, take meeting notes, organize follow up for action item;
- Provide administrative support: maintain and update departmental documentation and correspondence, policies, procedures; prepare reports and briefs;
- Streamline internal communications: handle email requests and queries, screen and redirect when appropriate, ensure procedural responses;
- Provide travel support: prepare and coordinate travel schedule and itineraries, align travel plans with marketing event schedules and corporate travel policy, assist with visa applications, maintain and file travel expenses;
Requirements:
- Excellent command of the English language is required;
- Proficient Russian speakers would have an advantage;

- Collaborate with R&D engineers on coordination, communication, and execution of production-related operations;

- Participate in incident response and resolution, including root cause analysis and post-mortem reviews;
- Continuously evaluate and adopt new technologies and methodologies to enhance our infrastructure and operations;
- Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Create and maintain documentation, runbooks, and knowledge base articles to document system configurations, procedures, and best practices.
You are a perfect match if you have:
- 5+ years as a SRE engineer with a passion for technology and strong motivation to build highly reliable solutions;
- Proven experience in managing large-scale distributed systems and understanding the principles of scalability and reliability;
- In-depth understanding of operating systems, networking, and cloud services;
- Experience with Observability and Monitoring tools – mandatory;
- Git,Virtualization, Containers, Dockers, Kubernetes;
- Cloud providers: GCP – preferably; AWS, Azure – an advantage;
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, or Java;
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to adapt the messaging to different perspectives (technical, business) and levels of detail;
- Ability to grasp new technologies quickly and prioritize and multitask on multiple responsibilities;
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
